Overview - It's 1987, the final act of the Maxi Trial in Palermo, the largest criminal trial in Italian history. On this occasion, eight jurors, four women and four men, are locked in a deliberation chamber for thirty-six days. Their task is to determine the convictions or acquittals of 470 defendants accused of mafia crimes.
