Douglas Fairbanks is "Passin' Through" - a dangerous gunslinger with a heart of gold. When he alights upon the young Bessie Love, who lives with her paralysed father, he takes a bit of a shine to her and helps fend off the unwanted attentions of local kingpin "the Wolf" (Sam de Grasse) whilst helping out some local kids with problems of their own.
