Overview - Fatih Akin sets out in search of his family roots and paints a portrait of his Turkish family. In 1965, his father came to Germany from Turkey to try his luck as a guest worker. He actually only wanted to stay for two years, but then he brought his wife to Hamburg and still works today in the chemical cleaning factory where he found a job back then.
