Overview - The farce is about a left-wing British minister who has arranged a meeting with his mistress in a hotel room in London. His secretary is assigned to entertain the minister's wife in the meantime. The secretary messes up most of the time and ends up in bed with the minister's wife herself. A choleric hotel manager and a curious waiter, as well as a number of other characters, accelerate the course of events.
