This is an hoot. The usual aliens from outer space yarn, intent on invading the Earth by landing in a middle-of-nowhere American town populated by ordinary country folks! Whether or not these visitors actually set out to invade the Earth is not clear - but after one of them gets hit by a car, it's probably fair to assume that they are a bit narked. Anyway, I digress.
