Remember is not a film that's easily forgotten. Its takes a honest, often painful look, at Korea's past, under the oppressive rule of the Japanese empire. It uses this backdrop to craft a straightforward but nonetheless memorable tale, that mixes action and drama, revenge and redemption, to potent effect.
