Overview - Secret Service agent Alex Thomas is detailed with protecting the president of the United States but, at a public appearance, everything went wrong and the president is assassinated. Wracked with guilt, he blames himself for his team's failure. Meanwhile, seasoned journalist Kate Crawford comes to believe there's a massive conspiracy afoot and convinces Alex of it. An extremely implausible story, where nobody but his bodyguard and a reporter seem to be interested in the killing of the US President. Not even after the two have been violently attacked in the middle of the city, together with a police patrol car, does anyone show any interest in their story.
