In spite of its pretensions, Citadel is far from being a serious spy thriller. This is your basic, by the numbers, pro US action series, with a dash of predictable, endlessly tiresome, woke nonsense. I have just completed episode 5 of Citadel and to this point, I am less than impressed .. I usually enjoy this genre, but the direction is all over the place, even confusing at times ..hoping to see some kind of improvement, but I am not holding my breath. Disappointing though, since I am a fan of both the lead actors. 2 🌟🌟
