Overview - Last of the Ninth is an HBO tv pilot for the 2008-2009 season. It was described as a cop drama, set in New York in the early 1970s, about the relationship between a young undercover cop and a veteran detective in a department fiscally crippled, under attack by revolutionaries, and which has been brought by allegations of systemic corruption into public disrepute. The series was not picked up.
